Online galleries will be delivered by Thursday 16 April.
This will be a truly gorgeous family photography session with a subtle edit emphasising natural tones and textures. My art lies in capturing moments of interactions within your family, combined with a few cultivated group shots. I’m excited to be invite you to be a part of this very special Bella Jordan Photography session!

$150 deposit required. If you change your mind, full refunds will be issued or the deposit can be used against a new date.

What is your photography style?
Your session will be relaxed and documentary in style, the focus is on connection, play, and those genuine in-between moments that show your family as you really are. At points I will bring you together to form some group shots. This helps kids to be themselves showing their personalities and they’re more happy to come together for the intermittent group shots. My technique results in a gallery of images that reflect your family’s personality and the vibe of the day.
Where do sessions take place?
Although I have to admit, the beach is my favourite location, sessions are held at the location that best suits your family, be that your favourite beach, park or at your home. Whichever suits you and your family needs best.
What happens if the weather isn’t ideal?
A cloudy day can add gorgeous light and atmosphere, but if it rains heavily, we simply reschedule to another day. Melbourne weather keeps us on our toes, and flexibility ensures your images are perfect. If you can’t reschedule, we’ll find an indoor location, maybe your house or perhaps your local cafe may oblige.
What if my child doesn’t cooperate?
That’s completely normal and totally okay. I’ve had many parents comment on how amazing the photos came out considering their child wasn’t in the best mood for photos.Over the years I’ve learned that kids are best fresh and not hungry, so mid mornings usually work best after a good snack! I would say not after a sports game or swimming lesson. Sessions are built around play and curiosity, so there’s no pressure to pose or behave a certain way. Often, the most unforgettable photos happen in the in-between.. a hug, a giggle, a quiet moment of connection.
How long are sessions?
Family sessions are 40 minutes long, just the right amount of time for everyone to relax and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
What does it cost?
Sessions are $520 and include 50+ fully edited digital images, with around 15 images converted into black and white. You’ll receive your gallery via a private online gallery, to download and share. There is also an optional app so you can view your images whenever you want.
What should we expect on the day?
Expect plenty of movement, laughter, and connection. Children are encouraged to explore, play, and be themselves whether that means running through gardens, clambering rocks, getting a ride on grandpa’s back or having a cuddle break. You don’t need to “perform” just be present with each other. Beautiful images unfold naturally from there. My talent is in capturing the moments as scenes that we don’t always see ourselves.
What should we wear?
Simple, comfortable outfits always photograph best. Choose clothing that you love to wear. Avoid bold logos, lots of clashing patterns and very strong colours like cerise pink. Bare feet are always welcome at beach sessions.
Can we include grandparents or pets?
Absolutely. I love pets, and grandparents! If your group is going to be very large (over 7 people) let's chat, as you may need a 1 hour session.
Do you travel outside Melbourne?
Yes. Most sessions take place around Greater Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, but travel further afield can be arranged just reach out for details.
When will we see our photos?
Your online gallery will be available within 1-5 days of your session.
How do we book?
Fill out the enquiry form and I’ll be in touch to talk about dates and locations. To book a $150 deposit it required. The $370 balance is paid on receipt of your gallery, you will then be sent the link to download your images. I only have 2 weekends available each month so booking in advance is recommended.
